DXD Microsoft PASS Summit 2018

Data by Design’s own, Paul Bertucci was one of the featured speakers at this year’s Microsoft Professional Association for SQL Server

We estimate an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 350 attending his “Plugging Data Quality as a Service into Big Data” presentation. PASS was in November 2018 conference in Seattle, Washington.

Much of his presentation revolved around core master data management principles and the tools to create a “service” that can be plugged in to your data lakes and vastly improve the data quality (and VALUE) of your companies Big Data. There were many compelling data quality improvement results (before and after) and a focus on the rapid return on your investment in Data Quality as a Service. The presentation was based on a live production implementation that he was a key member on at a multi-billion dollar global high tech firm. The conference was also featuring his latest book “Microsoft SQL Server High Availability UNLEASHED” at the conference bookstore and that title quickly sold out.
